I finally talked to the human about not getting to go into the big pasture where all the green stuff is. She said we can't go in there because if all of us goats went in, we'd scare the babies living in the cottonwood tree.
She said the great horned owl babies might fall out of the nest if we scared them.
Since we couldn't go in there, she decided to redo the fence back there. That way we wouldn't get confused where we are supposed to stop. Of course, by the time the fence in done, the owls will be bigger.
We've been hearing all kinds of noises, and now we know what it is.
Personally, I think she didn't get the fence replaced on time and now she's using those owl babies to cover her tardiness.
What do you think? Owl babies or slow working humans?

Love the owl babies. I'm sure you will get your turn in the pasture.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen baby owls! How cool!
ReplyDeletehey, i say the owl babies are a good reason to stay put for a while. the fence doesn't build itself, millie! humans only have 2 hands a piece. :)
