Remember my pumpkin garden. Well, some goats (I won't say who) started nibbling my pumpkin plant.
Pretty soon, it looked like this.
Darn goats! We sampled the mini pumpkins, but they didn't taste very good.
Today, the human gathered up all my pumpkins. Look at all my pumpkins!
Then she brought out a pumpkin for me, but before she could get to me, my girl Joe smelled it.
She was determined to get that pumpkin!
Finally she got her bite.
She wasn't about to let anyone else have her bite.
Then the human brought the rest over for me to try.
I did enjoy a nice little sample of my pumpkin.
I think next year I might try growing watermelons. That sounds good.

sounds like a plan!
ReplyDeleteThey sure turned out cute! Pumpkin seeds, yum! Watermelon would be good, but could you guys leave those alone?
ReplyDeleteYou're a very good gardener Millie. I should try to get Lucky Nickel to do some gardening for me. Next year we shall grow pumpkins, I think. I doubt she will want to help, unless it involves eating the seeds.
ReplyDeletePumpkin seeds are a natural wormer for livestock, they must have thought it tastes better then panacur or ivermectin!
ReplyDeleteThat looks so yummy. I may have to plant pumpkins for our goats and sheep.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet you goaties will have another nice pumpkin patch next year! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is a very impressive crop...I am glad you got to enjoy some of the spoils for yourself.
ReplyDeleteBlessings Kelsie
PS: We have spent this week working on the pens for our goats...they come home Thursday...so excited I shared some pix of our progress so far.
Our watermelons grew quite well here but the publicist didn't share. She ate them all herself! Piggie publicist. Those pumpkins look tasty
