The Goat Lender

The human was feeding bottle kids. She was feeding them all the time. She was feeding Hickory and Chuck.

She was feeding Cinnamon.

She was feeding Fionn.

She was feeding Oscar.

She was feeding Haley.

She was not happy about feeding everyone. Finally, she said, "That's it! I can't feed six bottle kids at once!" She called her sister and loaned her two kids. The lucky two to be loaned out are Hickory

and Chuck. She figured they would get along fine. After all, they are three-quarters brothers. Their dad is Big Red, and their mothers are twins, Litha and Stormy. That's three-fourths, isn't it?

I wanted her to take pictures of Fionn and Oscar getting their bottles, but the human said, "No way! I am not taking pictures and bottle feeding four kids!" You'd think my blog photographer would be more dedicated than that.

Oh No!

The human told me how many compliments she's gotten on all of our happy, healthy and clean kids.

Someone forgot to tell him that he wasn't supposed to fall in a mud puddle before picture time.

Oh dear.

Miss Congeniality

Here comes Miss Photogenic, Squirt, racing the barnyard's vote for Miss Congeniality! My own grandkid, Cinnamon.

She's certainly not photogenic. My blog photographer says it's because Cinnamon is always running towards her to get a bottle.

Well, maybe that's not the only reason, but she is very friendly and sweet.

She makes her grandnanny proud!

Annie, the Baaaad Naaaanny

Annie had twins, Fionn and Fowler. Here is Fowler.

He is big and sleek and strong from nursing his nanny.

Here is Fionn. He's trying to chase his nanny down, so he can nurse.

He can see what he wants.

He can almost reach.

Oh, she stepped away.

Now where is lunch going to come from?

Yep, Fionn is one of the human's bottle kids because Annie is a baaaad naaaanny.

We took a vote, and Betty Lou's daughter, Squirt, wins the barnyard Miss Photogenic contest.

A Mother's Love

Meg has really become a good mom. I've given her a lot of advice through the years. Look at her now.

Xander and Xavier certainly do like playing on their mom!

Bottle Kids

The human is not happy with us goats. She says she doesn't have the time to feed bottle kids before she's done teaching school. Well, she doesn't have much choice.

Pebbles's little girl, Cinnamon, can't compete with her triplet brothers. She's been on the bottle since about two days old. Pebbles and Cinnamon appreciate it.

Litha can't feed all three of her babies. Chuck and Oscar both take a bottle and nurse their mom.

Stormy can't keep up with her triplets. Haley and Harley still nurse their mom, but they also take a bottle.

She was making bottles for five kids. Now, Annie is on the human's naughty list. She refuses to take care of her boy, Fionn. I can't say that I don't blame her. I don't think I could ever not take care of my kids. Some nannies. The human thinks The Goat Borrower, Mimi, needs to take care of the Giant Fionn!

He was getting thin, but she filled him up with milk. Now she keeps bugging Minnie. She says, "Minnie, if you want to do that meditation thing and bring yourself into milk again, I'd be happy to milk you."

Brotherly Love

Felix found a really nice place to sleep where it wasn't wet. Yep, it's wet and rainy again.

Last of the Spring Break Babies

We've had the last of the spring break babies. Stormy had triplets on Friday! That was quite a surprise.

Tonight Betty Lou finally decided to have her baby.

She has just one little girl.

The human said Betty has to go on a diet before she has her baby next year because she was so fat she couldn't have the kid on her own. How embarrassing!
